What we collect
Nothing. Jotting Journal doesn't collect personal data. No accounts, no sign-ins, no internet connections.
Where your data lives
Everything your child writes stays on the device. Diary entries, notes, categories, and settings are stored locally using the device's built-in storage. Nothing is synced to a server or shared with a third party.
If you use the backup feature in Settings, the app exports a file to wherever you choose to save or send it. That file never passes through our servers.
Analytics and tracking
There are no analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising SDKs in Jotting Journal. The app does not track usage, sessions, or behavior.
Children's privacy
Jotting Journal is designed for children. Because no personal information is collected and no account is required, COPPA doesn't apply. There is nothing to share with third parties and nothing to delete on request.
Third parties
The app does not share data with third parties because it has no data to share. Apple's App Store and operating system handle the purchase and installation separately. See Apple's privacy policy for details on what Apple collects as part of the App Store experience.
